I have really good with my diet lately and since I was going to a movie I decided it was ok to have a Coke. I had given up finding my name on those "share a coke" bottles buuuut I did find one with my dad's name! Fair enough. I saw Boyhood and wow. Wow! What a great idea for a film. Richard Linklater would film for a few weeks every year for 12 years. It was kinda fascinating to watch the kids grow up and to watch the parents age. And to watch everyone's personalities change. My friend asked what kind of movie it is and I wasn't sure what to say. It's a little of everything. Kind of a dramedy and documentary. It's long but well worth it. It's also filmed in Texas and while everyone can relate to the growing up part, only Texans can relate to the growing up in Texas part. It's hard to explain but it was nice to experience those memories, good and bad. Please go see it.
