I went over to the Monadnock building to grab lunch at Harry's where I used to go all the time at my old job. Still super yummy, except I forgot that "everything" means green peppers and onions. Gross. I ate in Chase Plaza (check out the pic of the steps, also in Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and checked my email only to find out I didn't get the job I really wanted. I was mostly disappointed that the interview went so well and they were so encouraging. It was definitely misleading. I can't really say I'm discouraged; I'm really just exhausted and sick of interviewing. I will of course keep looking but it's just annoying, especially when these interviews all seem the same and they ask you the dumbest questions. Anyways, I consoled myself with a cookie and a night out with my buddy Neil and his girlfriend. We went to see Harold Pinter's Celebration at A Red Orchid Theatre. It was totally offbeat and fun and involved using lots of objects as musical instruments. It's always great to see something different. And Michael Shannon sat behind us! We went to Burton Place bar afterwards to party it up and it was nice and cozy til a bunch of dbags showed up and ruined it.
