On my walks from work to the bus, I keep running into old co-workers. Which isn't hard since my new job is across the street. Everyone says the same thing:
"I hate it"
"Everything's the same"
"He's running that company into the ground"
It's sad to see. Even one guy said "well, I've been there for 5 years so I'm a lifer." That was exactly the position I didn't want to be in. 3 and a half years was enough for me. I never wanted to reach a point where I felt stuck and pressured to stay where I was. That place is so bad for your mental health. So bad that one woman took off a couple days and went to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well. He told her she was fine physically but that it was all mental. So the next day she quit. I never got along with this person but good for her. Everyone should escape at some point.
