It's not a race
I usually wake up at 6:45 for work but today is Saturday!! Annnnnd I had to get up at 5:45. Dammit. Today was the Soldier Field 10 Mile and I'm pretty sure it was earlier than usual. It started at 7am and I had to get there by 6:45! I missed a Belmont bus and then caught the next one to the train but realized I definitely wouldn't make it on time. So thanks Uber! I spent $17 but I made it. My finish time was not great but the humidity KILLED me. Oh well, I finished! Neil and I visited AJ at work for lunch and came up with some great ideas and bits for a video. Hopefully we can make it work. Then drinks at Lincoln Station with Mary Beth and a lovely view of the Biograph and also of a lot of party trolleys filled with drunk idiots. Holiday weekend!
